#MAD Speaker# Meet Siok Siok Tan
Tan Siok Siok is a filmmaker, entrepreneur, photographer and author of a new book of photos about the Beijing hutongs. Siok is an entrepreneur who has built Kinetic ONE, a social video platform in China with channels focused on youth culture, fashion and lifestyle as well as parenting & pregnancy. Siok previously worked as an executive producer for Discovery Channel in Asia. The shows she produced have clinched more than a dozen awards and nominations at the Asian TV awards and the Golden Bell Awards Siok siok Tan discovers the beauty of ancient and modern China, showcasing it to the world in her own style. While the modern world is changing, Siok Siok brings current hypes in the spotlight and tells stories of the ‘normal’ people how they changed their life because of it. Check out her self-directed documentary and just released book!
